The city of Hong Kong is one of the main sources of inspiration behind IRISdancewear. My life here, my friends, the people I dance with, my neighbors, and the anonymous Hongkongers with whom I interact on a daily basis give shape to this wonderful experience of living and working in Hong Kong.
This is just the first part of an ongoing series of photo shoots that aim to portray Hong Kong's local life as seen through dance.
The businesses that I've captured are a big part of my life in this city in different ways. Some of them are located next door to my apartment; others I simply pass by their side on my way to the subway station. Either way, these businesses, their owners and employees conform the visual diary of my life in Hong Kong.
